Each student independently demonstrates in 3 hours:
- 1/2 serving Jasmine Rice
- 1 serving Stir Fry Vegetables
- 1 serving Crispy Beef with Oyster Sauce and Scallions (100 points)\Using the supplied recipe, students demonstrate mise en place, ingredient prep, stir-fry technique and knife skills.
- 1 serving of fresh pasta (e.g., fettuccine, linguini, ravioli, tortellini, etc.) with your choice of protein(s), vegetables and sauce.(100 points)
- Some possible ingredients for your pasta dish: chicken, shrimp, beef, ground pork, sausage, pork, oil, olive oil, garlic, cream, stock, wine, fresh herbs, lemon, milk, tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers, carrots, zucchini, sun dried tomatoes, shallots, onions, cheeses, etc…
